The 1008-DAS chassis features a tool-less, tray-less design for easy removal of drives. It supports two types of connectivity with USB 2.0 (480Mbps) and an e-SATA (3Gbps) for flexibility when connecting to the host computer. The 1008-DAS includes a 40mm fan to ensure large capacity drives remain cool during operation and is available in multiple drive capacities. The ability to easily exchange SATA hard drives makes the 1008-DAS a cost effective storage targets for backups. It's also perfect for day to day storage needs required by standard PC users.
